CAMEO is the local specialist service providing expert care and support to people aged 17-35 experiencing a first episode of psychosis. The team at Cameo help people to take back control of their lives by giving them the tools to manage their mental health and regaining the optimism and hope to get on and enjoy their life.
Team Leader Kathy Lawrence-Clarke said “We enjoy working with people who we know will be able to recover their lives. On Friday CAMEO will be three years old! We would love you to come and meet us and see what we do. We look forward to seeing people again at the birthday party and to hear their news and progress.”
The CAMEO team is a group of mental health professionals. Some are trained as nurses, others as doctors or psychologists and some are people with lived experience.
