Celebrating Future Jobs Fund success

There will be a Future Jobs Fund showcase on the 12th August at the Kingsgate Conference Centre in Parnwell from 9.30am to 12.30pm to celebrate the success of phase one and reward all involved for their hard work. All Future Jobs Fund employers, employees, and the Future Jobs Fund team are invited to join in the celebrations and welcome phase two.

At the event there will be speeches from Gillian Beasley, Chief Executive of Peterborough City Council and the Mayor. The winner of the email signature competition will also be announced and presented with a £50 HMV prize voucher. There will also be speeches from Future Jobs Fund employees and Gary Condor, Project Manager, who will share their experiences of the Future Jobs Fund, including a video diary made by youth workers. To top it off, Sean Dunthorne, magician and Future Jobs Fund employee, at Peterborough Museum will take to the stage.

The showcase will draw to a close with lunch for all involved.

Nadine Tatlow, Future Jobs Fund events co-ordinator said “The Future Jobs Fund team are really looking forward to the showcase! This is a brilliant way to celebrate our success by sharing what we have achieved throughout phase one of the scheme. It has been a real pleasure to be given the opportunity to organise this event, giving a future jobs fund employee like myself valuable experience! It’s going to be a fantastic morning and a great way to celebrate such an achievement.”
