Presentation skills for getting ‘Back to Business’

ITN Sports presenter Graham Miller will join the Peterborough Back to Business Club on Thursday (15 April) to share his wealth of knowledge on presentation skills to professionals who are currently seeking employment. The session will be held between 2pm – 5pm at Peterborough College of Adult Education.

Graham Miller has over 25 years experience presenting and reporting news, sport and current affairs throughout the ITV Network, and is most commonly recognised as Sports Correspondent for ITN.

Alan Boyer, Jobcentre Plus Personal Adviser and Back to Business Club Coordinator said, “Graham is sure to sprinkle his seminar with numerous anecdotes from the world of sport and broadcasting whilst advising on seminar skills, so it really will be an afternoon not to be missed.”

Alan continued, “We are always happy to welcome new members to the Back to Business Club. Anyone living in the Peterborough area who is actively seeking work at a professional level is welcome to attend the Back to Business Club on a drop-in basis. There is no charge and no need to register in advance for a meeting.”

The Back to Business Club is held every week, from 2pm – 5pm at Peterborough College of Adult Education. Sessions include weekly seminars on topics such as confidence building, interview techniques, and volunteering opportunities. The Club operate as a drop-in networking event, providing opportunities for out-of-work professionals to meet others in similar circumstances to exchange views and advise each other on getting back to work, as well as signposting the range of support services available in Peterborough.
